Its come to that time of the year again… Glitzy décor and Christmas lights in the malls - and of course CHRISTMAS SHOPPING.
I can’t believe that December 2006 will be here in two and a half weeks time! This year I’m planning on spending more time around the pool - if we can still work thing out, we might even go for a sea holiday!! I’ve been inquiring about accommodation, and found a flat yesterday [YaY], so it just depends on who’s coming along now I haven’t been to the sea since March 2005, so I’m looking forward to this like a little kid.

Summer has really begun, and the weather is PERFECT. Hot summer days, with occasional thunder storms. This is what I LOVE about South Africa. Winter here is just not any good - we get all the cold, but no snow! That’s not fair. But summer is fantastic. Specially during the December holidays. Some people might complain about the heat, but I love it. Bikini’s, suntan lotion, watermelons, and the smell of chlorine & mosquito repellent - it makes me feel young and alive again…

Gosh I can’t believe its friday AGAIN. What’ve I been doing? This week went so quickly. I worked alot. Worked every night as well. Today I’m not taking the laptop home though We’re going away for the weekend, which I can hardly wait for! Last Friday I took a photo of an absolutely STUNNING sunset, though the photo doesn’t do it any justic. Here is the photo though

I’m somewhat frustrated. Or irritated. Some may say its PMS, but in that case the “P” stands for PERMANENT. For some reason I feel like screaming at people lately. When they do stupid things I just want to shake them and slap them till all this frustration has left my stomach. Yes its in my stomach. I don’t know how it got there, and I don’t really care either. I just know that I want to slam doors and throw tantrums I really feel like my inner-self has tourettes? Remember Ally McBeal? I keep imagining things like she did, and I don’t think its very healthy (though I must admit its amusing).

People seem to act more stupid, and argue with me about things that they know nothing about? Why? Computers too, have suddenly turned against me. From disk checks everytime I reboot (which I have to do at least 5 times a day, as my PC just freezes whenever I’ve typed a sentence, and forgot to save after each word), to random blue screens…

Maybe its just this week, but I feel like I need some serious rest. Maybe the weekend will help. I will read, and paint my toes, and try not to come into contact with irritating individuals… By the way, its not that I hate anyone. Suppose I’m just having a tourettes week…

When I go home in the afternoon, I usually wear my sunglassess. The last stretch of road I look directly into the sun, which is most of the time when I see the most amazing sunsets. I’ve thought about taking photo’s, but its a bit hard while driving.

I was crushed when I left my sunglasses at home one day. Not because I could barely see where I was going, but because there wasn’t a beautiful sunset like always. Since then I’ve noticed that the sunset looks completely different through my sunglasses. They seem to accentuate all the bright bits. Turning everything into a splendid pinkish red glow. One day I will attempt to take a photo through my sunglasses - not while I’m driving however!
Yesterday it was raining, and traffic was really slow, so I decided to take a photo… Though there was no sunset, the clouds were beautiful. Thick heavy clouds promising plenty of rainy days ahead. Today the rain started, and according to weather forecasts we should be expecting this to continue till Friday, maybe longer.
