Time To Tan!!!

Stage Light by ~Raven–ZeroYes, its that time of year again – summer!!! December holidays start in 10 days for me!!! I can’t believe that this was 2006. On December 15th I will be working my last day for this year! I’m really looking forward to going to the beach, and spending time with friends in the sun, but its a bit scary to realize how quickly time goes by. Just the other day it was December 2005, and now 2006 is ending?

I’m going to try to make a post of things I’ve achieved this year. There are still things I need to finish at work, but once that’s done, I can relax till next year! It always feels strange to say that, and though its soooo cliché, I still end up using that phrase every year.

I hope you all enjoyed 2006, and everyone is looking forward to the festive season as much as I am!!

[Can't wait to get some sun on my pale skin]

A REAL Pregnant Man

Pregnant Man

Referring to my previous post, I think Mr Sibindana might be surprised that a pregnant man might not be such a strange thing!

After hearing about his claim of being pregnant, I googled for “pregnant man”, and came across a really strange article. In the article they mentioned the condition “fetus in fetu” which got me googling again.

It seems that there have been less than 90 reported cases of “fetus in fetu”. Similar to siamese twins, but the one baby somehow forms within the other. A specific case in India got my attention;

“To my surprise and horror, I could shake hands with somebody inside, it was a bit shocking for me.” One doctor recalled that day in the operating room. “He just put his hand inside and he said there are a lot of bones inside,” she said. “First, one limb came out, then another limb came out. Then some part of genitalia, then some part of hair, some limbs, jaws, limbs, hair.” Inside Bhagat’s stomach was a strange, half-formed creature that had feet and hands that were very developed. Its fingernails were quite long. “We were horrified. We were confused and amazed,” Mehta said.

Man Takes Time Off Work Claiming To Be Pregnant

[Only in South Africa!]

For all of the people who were offended with my previous jokes aimed at the stupidity of Americans, here’s something I heard over the radio yesterday.

A South African man has been fined $140 for taking a week off work, telling his employers he was pregnant. Charles Sibindana, 27, stole a certificate from a clinic during his pregnant girlfriend’s checkup, a court near Johannesburg heard.Pregnant Man

He then added his own details to the note and submitted it and took seven days off work, seemingly unaware that only women consult gynaecologists.

His employers became suspicious and investigated the matter.

On passing sentence Magistrate Bruno Van Eeden warned Mr Sibindana “not to walk around faking sick letters from gynaecologists” as if he was pregnant, the South African Press Association news agency reported.
