Green is the colour of the season!! Today I saw a pic on Women24 showing three celebs with GREEN on the red carpet – they’re all following my lead! Haha…

 The dress in the middle, which Drew Barrymore is wearing, is the colour that I have chosen for our wedding, its the colour of our table overlays – I think its absolutely lovely!!

I fitted the dress again this weekend, and each time I do so, I don’t want to take it off again. Its very close to being finished now – I’m so excited!! The bridesmaid’s dress still has to be made, but I’m not stressing about that really – lol.

I want something really plain and simple, and already got a sample pic for it…

As for my dress – you’re gonna have to wait a bit more than a month before you can see that! I have pics, but I’m not sharing them yet

I have been looking forward to summer for so long, and I can’t believe that the time has finally come when I can just sit in the sun, next to the pool, and read a book whilst sipping on a smoothy… or something yummy.

I would of course rather spend the time on a beach somewhere -

preferrably a far off island – but not too primitave – I’m too lazy for that this time of the year

When I went to Mauritius in 2004, we had such a good time. Even though I was there for work (au pairing), I definitely had time to unwinde. We went to quite a couple of different towns, but of course, spent a lot of time on the beach as well. I went for a full body massage, which was just

devine, and also bought loads of gifts for friends. The exchange rate between South African Rands and Rupees was quite good at the time, I got 5 Rupees for each Rand!

I bought a whole load of coral jewelry, and of course Sarongs. They have some of the most beautiful Sarongs ever, and for CHEAP!

Since its summer here, its the perfect season to put on your bikini, sarong, sunscreen, grab a book – and RELAX.
