I can&#8217;t pronounce it properly &#8211; or at least it doesn&#8217;t sound like a proper word when I say it.  Maybe that&#8217;s the way it was intended. <p><font face="trebuchet ms" size="2"><font face="trebuchet ms" size="2"><font face="trebuchet ms" size="2"><font face="courier new" size="2"><strong>Onomatopoeia</strong> (occasionally spelled <strong>onomatopÅ“ia</strong>) is a word or a grouping of words that imitates the sound it is describing, suggesting its source object, such as &#8220;bang,&#8221; &#8220;crash&#8221;, &#8220;click,&#8221; &#8220;buzz,&#8221; &#8220;pop,&#8221; &#8220;zing,&#8221; or &#8220;untz untz&#8221; or animal noises such as &#8220;moo&#8221;, &#8220;woof&#8221;, &#8220;oink&#8221;, &#8220;quack&#8221;, &#8220;baa&#8221;, or &#8220;meow&#8221;.
