Flights To Canada

Flights to Canada are now cheaper than ever. Whether you’ve always wanted to see majestic lakes, or if you just have to go to Canada for a business trip, you will find affordable plane tickets on the dial a flight website. They offer a special from March 19th to April 30th 2008 - flying from London to Toronto for only £293.

Canada offers a large variety of tourist attractions, from cosmopolitan cities such as Montreal and Toronto in the Southern parts, to the isolated Eskimo settlements around the icy shores of Hudson Bay.

There are thousands of lakes and rivers of the interior provide superb watersports and fishing, as well as the Atlantic & Pacific oceans. The mountain ranges, such as the Rocky Mountains, offer breathtaking scenery. Some of the best resorts are in the series of great National Parks which preserve the wildlife and forests of Canada. The Northern parts offer the beautiful wilderness, also in National Parks.

Personally I would love to go skiing in Canada. Though I’m not very adventurous, and I might end up falling my arse off, I still do want to try it one day.

Sales Training

We all know how important training can be in the corporate world. Businesses usually want to see proof of your competence, and they want it on paper.

This is the best way for most businesses to make sure that they don’t hire someone who’s a fake. Someone who pretends to know what they talk about.

I heard recently of a person who even faked their qualification on their CV!! Obviously they got fired as soon as the company caught them out, but with Sales Training UK you won’t need to lie on your CV anymore. For those more honest people, you will have something worthwhile to add to your qualifications!

Need Refinancing?

Living in SA, its pretty hard to be without a motor vehicle. For me, it would be close to impossible to continue working if I didn’t have a car. I suppose in the US its pretty much the same. However, while I was in the UK I never owned a car, and never needed one. The public transport is just so good, that you really don’t need your own means of transport.

Unfortunately we have to face the reality of living in larger countries, with public transport that isn’t developed as well as we’d like.

If you need to refinance your car, have a look at RateGenius. Their customers save an average of $60 or more off of their current monthly car payment, and on average reduce their interest rate by 3.5%.

They have an automated system for quick turn-around of refinance applications, check it out Auto Refinance on their site.

They promise to find the best rate, term, and payment to fit your lifestyle. Their customers may enjoy up to 60 days before their first payment. And best of all, their refinancing service is FREE!

My Great Trek

This weekend I moved into the new flat. I knew that I was going to have to move this weekend, but I never imagined that it would be such a huge task. At least all my things are in the flat now, but I haven’t even unpacked half of it! I will continue tonight, if I have the energy.

At least all the big furniture has been moved, and I now have a louge suite for guests to sit on instead of folding chairs. Also got a dining set to eat supper at, which I just LOVE. Its so cozy :) The beds are obviously also in, but I might want to swop the single bed in the spare bedroom for a sleeper sectional - those are really convenient in a small flat, yet at the same time you can still receive guests to sleep over.

My first night there was OK. I wasn’t scared or anything, but it was really hot, and I struggled to sleep. Once I fell asleep I awoke every so often, wondering if I had overslept (even though I use an alarm).

This morning was the first time I had drive from there to work, and it was a nightmare. Its 5km’s further than my previous place, but it took me 3 times as long to get to work - I drove an hour and half!!! :( Tomorrow I’ll try leaving home even earlier, and maybe use a different route. I hated spending half an hour in traffic before, but this is just insane!!

For now I gotta get some work done, there are some important things that require my urgent attention.

Hope you all had a good weekend, and that the week ahead won’t be too rough! ;)

Changing Your Body Shape

Cosmetic surgery is not something anyone will consider, but there are many people who’ve already accepted this as part of normal life. A friend of mine was talking having a Breast Enlargement, but I never thought she was THAT serious. After not seeing each other for a while we had coffee again a while back, and she actually had it done!! I can’t believe that she had the guts to do it. I’m just too much of a sissy I guess. I’m really scared of pain, and I can’t see myself going through all that just to have bigger boobies.
Yes, I’ve always wanted to be a full C, but I guess its just not meant for all of us. However, if you have the guts (and the money), to have this done, there’s no reason why you should make peace with your size. You might very well change from a pear to an hour glass for that matter!

Manchester Houses

Apparently house prices in Manchester is great for first time buyers at the moment! I guess that’s specifically for buyers who are earning pounds though :P
Still, with Commercial Mortgage you might just be able to buy a house in England if you’re up to it! I would love to. I lived there for about a year, and I loved the country so much. Most people in sunny South Africa don’t understand how I can put up with the constant raining and grey days, but there is something so special about that atmosphere.

I spent the summer shopping till 9pm, and walking in the park - feeding the swans. It was such an idyllic life, that sometimes when I think back it feels like a dream. If I could, I would immigrate to England, and bring up my children there. Its just so much safer than South Africa. I suppose there always are downsides, and one of these would be that my family live in South Africa - well, most of them.

Some of our family are in the States, and other live in Europe, so I guess it would enable me to visit them regularly.

Where Would You Go?

Tropical Island

Whether you’re going away on a business trip, or looking for a ideal holiday destination, you might just find what you’re looking for on Dial-A-Flight’s website. You can get a flight to Australia, Madagascar, Thailand, wherever you want - even exotic locations such as Mauritius for a bargain price!I visited Mauritius a couple of years back, and it was an incredible experience. I would love to go there again, but then again, there are so many other amazing places which I haven’t seen yet. If someone had to tell me I could go anywhere in the world, I wouldn’t know where to pick.

One day, instead of retiring, I want to spend time travelling the world… Still, where would I start - I dont have the vaguest clue - probably some tropical island! ;)

BuzzFuse - Traffic For Your Blog?

I recently signed up with Buzzfuse, a blog traffic service, free as most of the others.
The sign up process was hassle free, and reasonably simple. Their interface is OK - I would’nt give it a too high score though - maybe 6/10?

signed up for a basic account, which is free, but there are also paid packages, which offer a few more services.
I’m always trying out new ways to enhance the traffic flow to my blog, and I’ve had some great success with social bookmarking sites.

StumbleUpon is a huge favourite of mine, but I’m willing to give BuzzFuse a try, and I will let you know what the outcome is.

Getting Arty

DiscoverI’m always intrigued by art, and would love to buy some nice paintings for the new house. I’ve often looked at the paintings in local galleries, and I’ve imagined a hundred different themes for our house.

If you have that same passion for good quality art, have a look at Park West Art Gallery. They have truely unique paintings that will brighten up any room, or house for that matter.

I had some art classes when I was in high school, and I would actually love to paint things myself - for our home. I just lack the guts to start. One day when I’m a ’stay at home mom’ I might do just that!
