Whether you’re going away on a business trip, or looking for a ideal holiday destination, you might just find what you’re looking for on Dial-A-Flight’s website. You can get a flight to Australia, Madagascar, Thailand, wherever you want – even exotic locations such as Mauritius for a bargain price!I visited Mauritius a couple of years back, and it was an incredible experience. I would love to go there again, but then again, there are so many other amazing places which I haven’t seen yet. If someone had to tell me I could go anywhere in the world, I wouldn’t know where to pick.
One day, instead of retiring, I want to spend time travelling the world… Still, where would I start – I dont have the vaguest clue – probably some tropical island!

Last weekend we went to China mart, otherwise known as China Town. It was an experience and a half. I’ve never been there, and its in the middle of JHB city, I suppose not quite in the middle, but close enough for me!
(I don’t know Jo’burg very well
)
We went to look for some beads and marble pebbles, and found a whole load of those, and a bunch of other things too. This weekend we’re going there again, and possibly taking my sister with. Its just something that we’re not really used to I suppose. Sounds pretty lame though. LOL.
After having spent half the day walking around, staring at all the shops in amazement (probably with our mouths wide open), we decided to eat something since we were a little hungry. We walked around the Chinese restaurants, in search for something we like. But you can see right through to the kitchens, and it was absolutely horrifying to even THINK about eating something that came out of a filty kitchen like that – fat spattered all over the wall, and the extracter fan was clearly working overtime. It literally looked like grease dripping off the walls!!! We both lost our apetite fairly quickly, and left.
Once we could stomach the thought of food, we decided to stop at the BJ’s restaurant which is built over the N1 highway, and we had burgers there. Not that I think the kitchens were really cleaner, but at least I couldn’t see it!

When traveling abroad, I usually look for Cheap Hotels – just because I cannot see why I should pay for an expensive hotel, while I spend all my time traveling in any case. Now I’m not talking about a hotel which cockroaches are crawling out from underneath your bed, but I’m not talking about a hotel with gold plated taps either!
If you’re looking to book a hotel online, before you start your travels, have a look at the sites which offer online hotel booking, you can find hotels on there that have a good reputation, but you might also need to get a home loan to afford staying in one! Maybe its different if you’re earning dollars or pounds, but here’s what I found:
When checking the availability of a hotel, you will see that the price is also provided. For interest sake, I checked a hotel in my area, a suite for two people, bed and breakfast included, was $1482.99 – for ONE night. What?!?! That is just sooo ridiculous!!
Now, I know what the prices are like in South Africa, but for ‘innocent’ tourists, this might seem like the norm – after all, there are quite a couple of hotels which are priced like this – specially to rip off tourists.
If you ever want to travel to South Africa, you’re more than welcome to ask me what a reasonable price would be to pay for a hotel.

I’m every day still amazed by the creativity of humans. The incredible endlessness of imagination. How extreme our ideas are, which haven’t been explored to the full, and won’t ever be. Again, I’ve stumbled onto something at which I stand astonished. Have a look for yourself. Personally I LOVE this place. Though its freaky, its somewhere I’d love to go, but would like to stay in a different room each night.
The PROPELLER ISLAND CITY LODGE (Belgium) is – truly – a VERY extraordinary location. All rooms and objects were created by the German artist Lars Stroschen. Much more appropriate than “hotel” is the designation “living in a work of art”.
30 rooms with an absolutely unique and personal ambiance. “Unique” is meant literally, for the entirety of all furnishings and other objects you will discover here are custom-made, individual handiwork. None can be found anywhere else on this planet – one could consider the CITY LODGE to be a MUSEUM with guest accommodations or a stay-in work of SCULPTURE.
The rooms are designed and constructed without compromise (!), varying from the tame to the extreme, and are well able to more or less alter your perspective of reality – according to your taste and sense of adventure.
So if you’re planning a holiday I would seriously suggest that you stay over at the Propeller Lodge, that’s if you have the guts
Personally I would like to try out “Grandma’s Room” [first image below] – the shower is inside the cupboard!!! How cool is that?
