Funny how these northern hemisphere traditions trickle down south. I always thought we "Northerns" decorated in December just to get our minds off of the shorter, cold and gray days. I always thought we “Northerns” decorated in December just to get our minds off of the shorter, cold and gray days. I couldn’t imaging doing Christmas festivities in Summer. There are just too many wonderful things to do when the sun is shining.
