Whenever I have to write a formal letter or document I just realize again that I seriously lack some writing skills. I should see if I can find any courses or writing tips! My vocabulary seems to shrink down rapidly whenever I start a letter with the phrase “To Whom It May Concern”. I guess its a metal block? Same with accounting for me though. I just can’t seem to get my head around it.

I find it amusing how people think any ‘blogger’ can write a column for a newspaper and be just as successful or even better than the guys who spent years studying how to write, and have another couple of years of experience behind them.

We bloggers love writing yes. But that definitely doesn’t mean that we’re great at it. It means that we’ve found a place to share thoughts, and sometimes vent, but that’s all. Just cause people read our blogs doesn’t mean we’re such good writers.

I think there is still so much for us to learn, and I guess if we look for it (even on the internet maybe?) we might just find something to help us on our road to small time writers.
