We used international phone cards while being in the UK, but how much do these really help? I had my doubts about them, and have always trusted people to tell me whether these are really worthwhile or not.
I mean, do you REALLY save money using these? There are quite a few companies that provide cheaper calling cards. They usually sell different cards for different regions. For instance I had to buy a card that included South Africa, and then I’d phone, and could talk for much longer than what I would normally do on my own phone bill. But I found that its just worthwhile if you make these international calls regularly – there’s always skype and e-mail too!
