I think it continues throughout your life. You see things differently every 5 years or so. It is actually what keeps things interesting. If we always viewed things the same way it would get boring. It is always hardest to appreciate things while you are living through it, but looking back it always seems so special.

Try and recapture it …… go fly a kite, walk barefoot in the grass , blow bubbles , wiggle your toes in the sand and build sandcastles on the beach

I was just saying ALMOST this exact same thing to someone today!! *hugs* I have a wonderful life and I am AMAZINGLY happy and lucky and content but I do miss the KIND of completely unrestrained JOY of childhood!! I’m glad you wrote this entry you said it way better than I could have xxx

Sorry bout the slow loading. I had a couple of other people check, and they said it was fine… Maybe its those crazy cats though… Will look into it still as soon as someone can tell me what’s making it so slow

there is definitely something on the front page that takes a while to load. not sure what it is. :/ just fyi.

Well, sadly, you know that it’s just been that way all this time. We just become older, a bit wiser, and a bit more knowledgable, and perspectives change. I also like to think that it’s because we get a little taller too.

There are lessons to be learned from children as adults though. It’s like you said, It would be great to be a child again, to not have responsiblity, or just to feel free.

You have to wonder…when you were a child, all you wanted to be was grown up, and now that you’re grown up, you want to be a child again. Vicious cycle, isn’t it?
