If you have been hanging around here from the start of my blog, you’ll know that my blog has had several titles. I finally settled with “Ô oui!” for a couple of reasons.
- I love French – its such a sensual language.
- Its the name of one of my favourite perfumes.
- It means “Oh yes!” – and since I’m such a pessimist, I have to force myself to look at life more optimistic, which is exactly the goal of my blog. When I look back on it, I can see how I’ve grown, and how life is actually great. Things tend to work out more often than I care to remember, and having such a real reminder is exactly what I needed back when I started. Even now, I still enjoy every minute of it.
- All over the internet there isn’t another blog with the same name (that I could find yet), still I found load of sites which have “Oui” on them, with some pretty cute images – have a look for yourself…

Great rationale on the name choice. I love how you are trying to use your blog to increase your optimism. I’ve been using my site to do that too!
