I do not think this is true. I grew up with several mulberry trees in my front yard and as a young child developed a taste for the tart unripe berries. I wouls eat hundreds in a single afternoon and never felt a buzz. I do remember the white sap though. But no effect what so ever.
Actually, it’s /mildly/ hallucinogenic.
As far as I know, MDMA has never been classified as a hallucinogen, not even mildly. However the drug PMA is sometimes sold as Ecstasy and that is a hallucinogenic amphetamine.

and there is a reason mullberry is similar to E, it contains a polyhydroxylated piperidine “1-Deoxynojirimycin (DNJ)”
lots of the ecstasy being sold is adulterated, and can range from caffeine to meth, sometimes it contains Piperazines “BZP, TFMPP, etc”
x can be hallucinogenic, depends on the person and the dose. But generally is not. However the dea lists mdma as a hallucinogeon on the drug scheduling page
