facebook is a great concept. It is however up to you as the user thereof to decide what you want to share about yourself with who… Get to know it a bit and you will soon add it to your favorites… simply be watchful as to who you allow into your friends network

MUSpace has (or had) more users. Facebook does the same thing, but does it better, with a less cluttered and more user-friendly interface. Tribe.net does the same thing

Don’t put personal details on, set your privacy settings really high, and you’ll be fine. I find it a great tool for sharing photos with my friends, and the message system is quite handy, with the added benefit of zero spam. And the interface is better than myspace, less chance of burnt retinas from ugly themes. Though, with the hundred million apps people keep adding to their profiles, it may get worse.

Heard about facebook never been there..Today I heard on ther radio there are tens of thousands of sexual offenders on MySpace I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that facebook is any different.

I’m with Facebook – I can’t stand it – only ever signed up with them ‘cos the other-half felt lonely at first. I love my MySpace profile. I believe that Facebook’s primary reason for being so popular is due to its user-friendly interface. Personally, I consider it ugly But eh, that’s just me.

I don’t think it’s that bad actually. I have read some pretty hectic contradictions. They are even changing their terms and conditions etc to aid in better privacy or something like that. I just feel, I aint got anything to hide. I travel extensively for long periods of time and have re-met so many people that I wouldn’t have know how to contact without it. Or maybe it was just an out-of-sight-out-of-mind?
