Of course you don't want to break them and you should turn them into a recycling center rather than disposing of spent bulbs in your trash. I was recently, or should say am just recently, considering putting those bulbs up in every lamp and fixture in my house. I think I may reconsider. They do save energy, according to friends, but if they're dangerous, I'm not sure it's worth the difference in cost. I'll have to look a little deeper! Thanks for the heads up! Interesting!
