This makes me cry. I look like this. I have fibroids and a thyroid problem dispite starving myself and exercising. I have gone from a size 8 to a size 14 in two years. I am so depressed. The doctors on my insurance plan refuse to listen or help.

Hey, just thought I’d say that this photo is part of a series that was done to make a statement about childhood obesity. They were done with many different sorts of toys, all changed to become obese. It was a campaign by ACTIVE Life Movement.

It’s not a worse message, but just as bad, I would say.

Why does everything has to be in extremes? You don’t have to be super skinny, but being super fat will give you health problems.

Having curves as a woman is normal, having rolls of fat hanging out of your pants is an indication that you have either bad eating habits or a disease.

This is a much WORSE message to send kids!!! While Barbie’s measurements are not real, so is this – or should be! This is not only very unattractive, but extremely unhealthy. All these “freedoms” that people with one problem or another claim they have, all send the wrong messages to children and adults. In this case, they don’t have the “right” to be obese – they have a “right” to be healthy.
