Ice Ice Baby…
You can either love me or hate me for this, but I’m not going to hide that I hate small dogs that bark at nothing.
I’m all settled in in my new home, most things are unpacked. I’m pretty much “at home” except that I’m surrounded by little dogs that bark constantly.
On Friday night, whilst hanging curtains & working by the windows for about 2hrs, and those dogs barked NON STOP, I decided that enough is enough. I had to get a plan to make them shut up.
Ice. Ice is a brilliant think. You can throw them with it, and it doesn’t hurt too much, but it shuts them up. It also melts so that the neighbour’s garden won’t be filled with stones after a while.

i throw ice too at small barking dogs! lol. i thought i was the only one. brilliant!
Tell me about it man. Moved in this weekend. New place finally moved in by myself after 30 years of living with an Italian mother, anyway…. Dogs, I’m going to try on them tonight!

Hi! You should check into those anti-bark devices that make a noise so high-pitched we can hear it, but the little yapping dogs sure will. You can mount it discretely and they do actually work. Too bad some people have to let dogs bark and bark.
Hey at least it’s not huge dogs, like I had barking at me before we moved. It was awful. I used to just squirt right into the house, into the yard and right at the dogs with the garden hose. I’d leave it turned on with a trigger handle on the end so it was instant soakdown on the first bark. “Aquatherapy”
But do try the sonic device thingy. They really do work and you won’t be spotted by neighbors throwing or squirting anything. Best of luck with that and congrats on your wedding day!!! Bonnie
