Thanks for sharing! It’s interesting to see other places, but what I found more interesting is how much this place pictured looks like Central Texas, where I live.
Kristyn, it is strange that it looks a lot like Texas… But South African has such a load of different climates, that our country looks a lot like different places.
Heza, the last picture is that of a shongololo – I suppose that’s a native word, but its a type of worm (a millipede to be specific) – its said have a thousand feet (in Afrikaans we call it a duisend poot) – but it doesn’t really of course. Just a lot of tiny little feet, that really tickle when you let it walk on your hand.
Cool pics. Especially the horse pic. Makes me want to just buy a farm… (I wish!) Shongololo! Haven’t seen one of them in ages. Brings back fond memories of when I was a child. (No! We didn’t kill it. Just loved to see them curl up when you touch them. )

The sky reminds me a lot of traveling through the midwest United States. gorgeous.
Love the Cactus Flower!
Beautiful photos, Dee. What is that coiled up thing in the last picture?
Thank you all
