&lt;p&gt;Kristyn, it is strange that it looks a lot like Texas... But South African has such a load of different climates, that our country looks a lot like different places.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Heza, the last picture is that of a shongololo - I suppose that&#039;s a native word, but its a type of worm (a millipede to be specific) - its said have a thousand feet (in Afrikaans we call it a duisend poot) - but it doesn&#039;t really of course.  Just a lot of tiny little feet, that really tickle when you let it walk on your hand.&lt;/p&gt;
