Summer has really started in SA now… I wish I was sure that it would stay for good, but I have a feeling that we’re still going to experience some winter.
At the moment the weather is fantastic, not too hot during the day, and really pleasant night temperatures. Tonight is one of those nights when I wish I could be outside, having a braai, and sipping on a glass of wine.
Instead I’m in the office working on a very urgent project. I’m not the only one here, but its not asif that makes it better. I’d much rather have been home alone even!

I’ve been craving blogging so much, and every now and again I get inspired, but then something always comes up, and I end up postponing.
I hope to be writing something decent soon, but I’ve been saying that for how long now? Life just doesn’t seem to calm down – I’m ALWAYS hectically busy with one thing or another, and whenever I get a break, I’m so tired that I just flop down on the bed and read for a while.

I’m ecstatic about the weekend, nothing much planned, but I love spending time at home

Today I really don’t feel like posting. Sorry. Its nothing you said

I have a terrible headache, and I’m really tired. My day started out terrible. I dropped my clothes in the dirt this morning, as I was packing for the weekend. It was clothes that I was going to wear to tomorrows wedding. I haven’t even looked at the state of it, so I might have to wash it tonight still. Other than that I was late, which also means that traffic was much worse. I hate traffi, which is why I come to the office a bit earlier. But this morning I drove smack in the middle of the worst traffic.

I can’t wait to go home anymore! I’ve had several headache tablets – none of which worked, but they’ve made me pretty sleepy. I think I just need to nap for an hour. Just to ‘restart’ my day.

We have plans for tonight, but unfortunately not very fun plans. We’re painting our new place, which I suppose is exciting, but I doubt the fumes will do my headache any good.

Now that I’m done complaining, I’ll say g’bye for now, and wish you all a very good weekend! Hope you rest as much as I need to!!

Hey Everyone!!! Wow, its Monday again – I can’t believe how quickly time is going by, and yet still I feel that its sometimes dragging along. Specially when I remind myself that I still have 33 days left before getting married. I suppose its not that long afterall though

I had a great weekend, and I feel so well rested. I had a afternoon nap on Saturday and Sunday, and I LIVE for naps sometimes. It was just so lovely to be able to doze off in the middle of the day

Sleeping wasn’t ALL I did, so I’ll share some photo’s as proof

We had lunch near the Hartbeespoortdam and I tried out my photography skills.
