Help My Pagerank!

4Okay, I know about ways to find answers, but I don’t want google of wikipedia answers this time. I want YOUR answers, and only because I believe you’ll tell what really worked for you!

I want to get my pagerank up from the current google pagerank of 4 - please give me lots of suggestions?

LOL. No seriously now, I’d like to know if anyone knows about a fairly simple way change this?

Do I have any hope of getting it to a 5 or 6?

They say the simplest way to do it is to get high ranking pages to link to you. At least that’s what google says. Sure, it’s as easy as that. :) Get your friends to link to you! that’s the best way to do it.

I’m already linking to you, so consider my contribution done! :P

I gotta get you linked….that’s the easiest way. So visit more blogs…link to them and hopefully they link back.

That’s a big question you’re asking, and it actually takes a decent amount of work. Google “SEO” or “search engine optimization.” What Yoshi left out is that you need SIMILAR web sites to link you, and you to linkt hem back. If you always write about hamsters, and someone who writes about yoga links you, that’s not going to help much unless they’re writing about hamsters doing yoga.

Giving your images and linkes useful names helps too. ie beginner_hamster_yoga.html, advanced_hamster_yoga.html, extreme_hamster_yoga.html. Images should be named search engine friendly too.

I have no idea why I’m using hamster yoga as an example, but how funny would it be if this post & comment becomes one of the top results for “hamster yoga?”

I’d like to say you did, but you need to be more subject-specific I’d say.

I currently have a decent google PR for various select search terms. As high as no 2. :)
What term has you at PR 5?
